The short version
Most developers start with code. I started with a blog, and got obsessed with a much simpler question: why does Google show some pages and bury others? That question turns out to be most of what SEO is, and once you start noticing it, it’s hard to stop.
Chasing it taught me keyword research, search intent, and enough technical SEO that building the actual website started to feel like the obvious next step. So I learned that too, WordPress at first, because that’s where the client work was.
These days there’s rarely a clean line between the two. I’ll open Search Console in the middle of a build just to check whether a page is even worth shipping.

Since 2022, I’ve worked directly with small businesses and organizations in Kathmandu, building their websites end to end: WordPress and, more recently, Next.js, plus the SEO, Google Business Profile setup, and third-party integrations (WhatsApp, booking platforms, email) that go with launching something real. That includes domain and hosting setup, ongoing maintenance, and being the person a client calls when something breaks.

I’m in Kathmandu, currently finishing up a BSc. CSIT degree in my 8th semester. Freelancing happens alongside classes, which mostly means client calls between lectures and shipping things on evenings and weekends.
Outside of that, I’m still the same person who started a blog because I wanted people to actually read it. I’d like to get back to writing properly at some point, once the current list of things to build gets a little shorter.
